So, this year or more precisly summer, will be full of metal festiavals. I was wondering which festival do you think, will be the best to visit it and most worthed of seeing it this year. I named some great festivals above, well not all of it...so choose which one is ''the one'' this year...or just name other festivals. And give your reasons...
My would be Metal Camp of course...great bands, beautiful countryside, near the river and so on

i can't be in any of them right now, because i'm banned to get out of the country for my military service. but since i hear and see some of these festivals on the internet, i would be more interested in Tuska.. because of the area and also Band which involve in it.

well the problem with this kind of poll is everyone just votes for the festival they happen to be going to.
I actually think the festival with the best line-up this year is Graspop though, and even though I am going to four festivals this summer - it is not one of them unfortunately!
and another point, the bands aren't the only things that make a festival an enjoyable experience or not. Bloodstock here for example I really enjoy a lot because it is not a huge festival - so you can always get close-ish to the stage and you can actually walk about the place without having to barge through people.. that is something that really brings the Wacken experience down.
still, all four festivals I go to will have reports, so you shall all see what they were like

I'd vote for the Dutch Doom Days but I don't think of it as a festival. A festival for me is beer, sun/mud and the open air. And camping.
So I'll vote for my fav. this year, which is of course Hellfest.

I will vote for Hellfest which is my favorite and a "smaller" festival than in other countries (e.g.: Wacken). But that depends of your approach and what you expect for an Open Air festival. For me it's a festival with a "human size", with good bands, beers and things like that.
