hmm, i don't know... maybe Silva(the most sweet-tasting Romanian beer of which i know), the other big brands are Ursus and Timisoreana (which is based in Timisoara, a city near the Serbian border, this could be the one they mentioned)

Timisoara = Temishvar in serbian, I know where it is And I think it was Ursus actually, but Ill try to check it.

My favourite used to be Grolsch, currently based in Enschede, but since it moved from Groenlo to Enschede the taste of it became less refined. I think now it is Hertog Jan which has it's brewery in Arcen. The latter brand has got a real nice taste.

So, yesterday I gave Corona with lemon a new chance, since also my friends had it. It sucked even more than I remembered. Never again.

should be a lime, not a lemon. it does make a difference, but not that great a difference. Corona is a decent situational beer... like on a beach in Mexico. it's really really low on my list when i order at a bar. in recent memory the only time was during the afternoon at a outside patio bar when they were running a special on Corona Buckets... like $8 for a bucket of five. when an average happy hour with the wife ends up running me around $70 (no Scotch) to $100 (if i get Scotch), sometimes Quantity IS Quality.

Meh, I thought it was the same.

I'm a big fan of a regional microbrewer in my area, the Vancouver Island Brewery. Most often I buy one they make called Wolf's Scottish Cream Ale. I tend to favour darker beers and genuine ales. There's also a local brew pub in my town that makes some excellent drafts. Since a six pack lasts me a couple months, I don't mind paying a little more. I can't think of any mass produced beers I actually like.

As far as I'm concerned, Canada's best known export Molson Canadian is an embarrassment to all of the actually good beers brewed here.

A lot of people agree that Portuguese beers are very good. Sagres and Super Bock, even foreign people love our beer. Too bad I don't drink it but oh well lol

Here in The Netherlands if I ever decide to drink one I will have to pay aroun $7 for just a single bottle.

Definitely not worth it at that clip.

My favortie has to be Budweiser, goes down easily and gets you pissed quickly. Just a shame it's so expensive.

i pay about $8 for a good six pack, and about $15 for a 12. (the stuff i listed earlier as faves are in this ballpark)

Good scotchs usually start at the $45 mark, with me spending about $60-65 for Laphroaig 15/Talisker 18 or comparable.

I bought such 5 L canns and drunk, firts oustdide near river whit shgalsik, was good beer whit mela, but secend at home alone, damn after day if its stand undrimkenm it start taste nots o good, but still I never ever had get such bee taste at home, taste like in pub from specal canns, this was awesome realy awesoem teste of beer

yes Portugal's wine are great too, but we are here talking about beer and I'm saying to you that Portugal's beer is also really really good. Have you ever tasted Super Bock? It has 28 gold medals on the international contest "Monde Selection da la Qualité", so I guess that says a little
