Bolt thrower, Cattle Decapitation, Cianide, Benediction maybe, AngelCorpse, Edge Of Sanity maybe, and Gorguts. These are all very much heavy duty death metal but I think for the purpose of locating new, super guttural bands all of these bands are more than applicable to those guidelines you've laid out. Vomitheist - HM2 Death Metal from Switzerland

At the moment I can't stop playing the latest Sulphur Aeon record, "The Scythe Of Cosmic Chaos".

I've seen it described as blackened death, melo death and tech death. It's somewhere between the three but well worth checking out.

I'd thought I'd ran out of bands like this, but I'm sure there are some more out there. . . Death metal with sort of a grindcore touch to it, not straight up deathgrind but you can sort of hear some grindcore influence in there. Oh and also really guttural vocals, like ridiculously guttural, not those really burpy vocals because if I wanted that I'd go listen to Devourment. . . but like Chris Barnes on Tomb of the Mutilated guttural.
I don't know if I'm asking too much or being too picky but there has to be some more bands like that out there somewhere. . . . .

First thing that comes to mind is Exhumed (no, not that Exhumed!) who kinda sound like Butchered At Birth-era Cannibal Corpse playing Eaten Back To Life-era material, but a bit grindier. Hopefully this hits the spot:

Depravity is a death metal band from Australia. These guys are signed by Transcending Obscurity. They are very old school and somewhat technical in their approach. Some songs have really cool riffs but most of their music sounds like this is something that you have already heard before, so originality is not really their forte. However if you want to listen well performed, tight death metal music then depravity is your band. The lyricism mostly focuses on anti political, anti religious themes. A good example of their music is the song Kretin from their debut EP, "reign of the depraved".

TŴR Debut single "Black Tower" features Death Metal veteran studio drummer Kevin Talley (Dying Fetus, Six Feet Under, Chimaira, Decrepit Birth, Misery Index) along with solos from long time friend of the band and incredible guitarist Federico Valerín from Costa Rica´s metal juggernaut Prockq.

Black Tower is a Death Metal song about deception, tyranny, enslavement and sorrow, based on the 2001 video game by director Hidemaro Fujibayashi, "Zeruda no densetsu: Fushigi no ki no mi - Jikû no shô" (original title) or "The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages" and focusing on the events leading to the burning of "the flame of sorrow" and the horrors inflicted inside the Black Tower.

Lions At The Gate, the new band featuring former Ill Nino members Cristian Machado (vocals),Ahrue "Luster" Ilustre (guitar) and Diego Verduzco (guitar),alongside bassist Stephen Brewer (WESTFIELD MASSACRE) and drummer Fern Lemus, has released the official music video for its new track, "Find My Way", featuring Tatiana Shmayluk of Jinjer.

Machado commented: "With 'Find My Way', we tried to break all the formulaic rules on this one. Pushed the boundaries, took it to extremes. In the end, we realized how rewarding it was fitting intensely contrasting musical elements into one track. And it is a killer heavy track that also offers a beautifully haunting melody.

"From the onset, it seemed perfect for Tatiana's voice. The fact that she wound up on the track is mind-blowing. Her voice is absolutely stunning and it is a huge honor having her on.

"Lyrically, the song walks the line between fear, surrender, and the will to overcome. At the time of writing the album, I felt pinned by so many things gone wrong in my life. I remember I just held on to hope and faith long enough till I found a place of safe surrender. A place where I could slowly lift the weight off, finally be untethered. It's a familiar theme that resonates throughout the whole album — the will to overcome, the power to see the beauty in a world that is unforgiving.

Umbilicus, the new project featuring drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz (Cannibal Corpse),guitarist Taylor Nordberg (Deicide, Inhuman Condition),bassist Vernon Blake (Anarchus) and vocalist Brian Stephenson (Fore, Old James),has signed a digital deal with blood blast distribution. The quartet's debut full-length album will arrive later this year.
