I missed Ozzfest today because it's too expensive and there weren't enough bands that I liked. It would have been awesome to see Ozzy and Zakk though.

Yeah after talking with people who did manage to get to Auckland - I was even more gutted. They played an amazing set, including a 30 minute long encore, because it was the last show of the tour (I think). And frustratingly, I could have had a free trip to Auckland ('round a 3-4 hour drive) - had the concert been a week later :|

Well, it wasn't the last concert I missed but I want to vent anyway. I found out yesterday that Theatre Of Tragedy came to London all the way back in April! How the hell did I miss that one?!

I missed Tuska-festivals ;(.. We were going to go there first but then we thought there wasn't as great bands as we would have like to see. Well, maybe next year.

The last concert I missed was seeing Behemoth last nigh which is really kinda disapointing because they seem like they'd be great live and I really wanted to hear Inferno play some fast double kick. The reason I couldn't go is because I only had a ride there and not one back.

I missed the SYL show last night because my parents (well mostley my mom) didn't think that I "needed" to go because I am going to see Ozzy and BLS tomorrow. I can see where she is coming from since I am using her car but it's the summer time and I like to have fun. As I sit here and listen to SYL's latest 'The New Black' (which I just bought) I really wish I could have gone. Oh well, at least I got Ozzy and BLS tomorrow.

I was gonna go to the Earthshaker Festival next week, but the coach company that was supposed to take me down there had to cancel the trip, so it looks like I'll be missing it. And it had such a good line-up as well
They offered either a full refund or a transfer to Wacken, but to be honest out of about 40 bands the only ones I really want to see are Emperor and Wintersun, and £189 is certainly not worth that. Oh well, there's always next year

Ow...that's bad luck...
The last gig I missed was (surprisingly) in Belfast itself! Nevermore and DevilDriver were playing at a local festival on the 6th June, but I don't know much Nevermore or DevilDriver, so I didn't go

The last show I missed was Job For A Cowboy and Cattle Decapitation not too long ago. No one I knew wanted to go and I had to work. I could have taken the day off most likely, but I've seen Cattle Decapitation already and I want the money.

Metal doesn't come around that easily here. I missed Therion, Helloween and will miss Tiamat all for the same reason: They are held in the capital city, Bucharest. Everything is more expensive there and all you get there are a bunch of posers.
No problem, I'm gonna go see W.A.S.P. and Catamenia this October, It's held on this side of the mountains and the fans there are a bit more TRVE.

In one and half month I'll say that I missed Slayer
This is one of the most known bands that I don't like. And I've missed NIghtwish, Therion, After Forever because these concerts are always in Bogota, and since I don't live there, it's quite difficult to go, you need money, time, etc.

I missed the Unholy Alliance Tour last June due to being broke (I hate working a shitty job with low pay).
I was really looking forward to seeing Mastodon for the first time, as well as Tom Araya's little brothers band, Thine Eyes Bleed. Seeing Slayer, Lamb of God and Children of Bodom back to back to back would have been fucking awesome too, but I've seen them all already, so that's not really a big loss.

Im missing a gig right now!!
A local gig with a killer line-up: Corpse Carving, Ice Eater, Mephistopheles, and Truth Corroded (Adelaide). I would be there but its over 18 and im 6 days off from my 18th, which sucks a bit. Although im not in the most good of moods so that would really effect my time if i had of gone.
Im from an area in Australia (Tasmania, the island at the bottom yeah) which doesnt get any Internation bands playing but luckly we have a killer local metal scene specialising in Extreme metal in Gore/Slam/Technical Death/Grind and such death metal sub genres. So when a local gig comes ujp we have to take the chance.
