This is a thread about bands like: Manilla Road, Agent Steel, Jag Panzer, Cirith Ungol, Circle II Circle, Whilplash, Forbidden, Attacker, Deadly Blessing, Catch 22, Imagika, Hammers of Misfortune, Liege Lord, Apollo Ra, Pharoh, Q5, Crimson Glory, etc.
I've got the Beyond Fear album and I can say it's one hell of an album, if you into old school heavy metal, but with an up to date sound you've got to deffenetly get it.
What do you thing of Midnight's return to Crimson Glory? Any expectations?
Any news from the Agent Steel camp?

Some cd's I bought yesterday: -SAINT - The mark -OBSESSION - Carnival of lies -ATROPHY - Violent by nature -SAVAGE STEEL -Begins with a nightmare -TEMPLAR - A touch of winters discontent

To put on my concert list a one I want to go to and will do so is WASP next saturday! I've become a big fan lately. My great surprise was the self titled (the remasterd version anyway) and how much it reminded me of early Manowar and I was shocked by that. PS: I envy you for seeing Deadly Blessing. I went to their home page and was impressed by the festival organised by Erico la Bestia (yeah the vocal from Dantesco)! Now that's a rather cool line-up of bands there.

Anyone heard XCEL's "Deliver This Dream"? Melodic US Metal. The vocalist reminds me a bit of DEADLY BLESSING's singer with his high pitched screams. Recommended.

It sounds much better than on the VoD site, of course. It's not the best I've heard though. The production on XCEL sounds quite much like the one on CRIMSON GLORY except that the vocals are a bit higher in the mix.

I was reading about this band: Violent Storm they got a new album, produced by K.K. Downing and he also plays two solos on it. It's called "Storm Warning", anybody got it? Any impressions on: Sacred Few - "Beyond the Iron Walls"? A friend has found this album and I was wondering if it's worth the buy?
