Von Herzen Brothers were great just like they were when opening for Pain of Salvation. A great live band that really delivers a great performance. These guys played for around 45 minutes.
Opeth came on stage in what seemed as an indifferent mood, especially Mendez, but as the show progressed everyone was becoming more and more open; Mendez was still strangely cold.
I was preparing myself for the clean-only setlist, but man, was I happy when they started playing Heir Apparent after Folklore and then The Grand Conjuration. Great show overall. A few drawbacks: annoying bass drum sound, bad sound overall during particularly heavy parts, Mendez often sounded a bit flat (not his fault most probably). Positives: great drumming by Axe, Mikael's growls were quite good.
Full (great) setlist:
The Devil's Orchard
I Feel the Dark
Face of Melinda
Slither
Credence
To Rid the Disease
Folklore
Heir Apparent
The Grand Conjuration
The Drapery Falls
Encore: Deliverance
----
Savor what you feel and what you see
Things that may not seem important now
But may be tomorrow
