These are two separate releases. The initial EP was a vinyl-only edition on one label and the other was released a year later on Relapse with the original three songs edited (I believe re-recorded), live tracks, and new artwork.

I know but Johan changed the LP version to EP. Not willing to change it back without staff permission. We don't do LP re-releases of demos so why do we keep an LP re-release of an EP (and then change it back to an EP)

Can someone change Sunpocrisy's tags to this?

- Extreme progressive (2007-2011)
- Post-metal (2007-)
- Progressive metalcore (2012-)

There's no death in their first release. It's pretty much extreme prog at max. The post elements are introduced in that EP and continue to prevail through their following release. I think they sound pretty prog metalcore-ish in their latest release. Post-metal also covers any trace of sludge in their music.

OBC referred to them as essentially being an Opeth clone in his review of their debut EP so the extreme prog thing checks out I suppose.

I think Industrial, EBM should be added for Ad Inferna from 2010 onwards

Any chance of getting "Folk metal" removed from Onmyo-Za's styles?

The band has no folk instruments in its lineup, and only crop up on the odd song on a handful of albums.

I think that avantgarde thrash is rather misleading as a tag for Diablo. To me, I think the key elements to their sound are prog, groove thrash, and melodeath. Perhaps:
- Progressive melodic death metal (1995-)
- Groove thrash metal (1995-)

It is uncertain whether we will ever continue the work on the follow up to 'Rise of the Rotten' or if we will ever play together again, but there should be great opportunity to hear us in various other musical contexts as most of us will remain active metal musicians..
