So, basically, im doing a history assignment, where i have to 'examine how a media text represents an historical individual, event or issue'

so i have chosen to do a slection of metal songs that have to do with wars, or things related to wars

so it would be good to get a list of songs of this type

my list so far:

metallica-disposable heroes
black sabbath-war pigs
Kalmah-heroes to us
machine head-farewell to arms
arch enemy-silent wars

so any more would be appreciated

Slayer - Chemical Warfare, War Ensemble, Angel of Death.... Pick a Slayer album. Half of the songs will be on the topic of war. lol

Just listen to Sabaton Alot of their songs are about war like Primo Victoria,coat of arms, cliffs of gallipoli and others

Bolt Thrower, their pretty much a war obsessed death metal/grindcore band. Pretty much anything by them will satisfy your needs of metal songs about war.

We can add bands like Civil War, Sabaton, Iron Maiden or Battle Beast...But, I think people should talk about peace and love and not only war and hatred. It would be better.
