Fuck Venom...
But if you wear a Lurker Of Chalice tshirt I will fly down there and knock your door with some flowers and chocolate.

I want to add that some of metalheads think they are some ghoulish special devil creatures, Nah you're just another decaying matter in this mad world, they got some illusions that they are haunted or possessed by dark side... and they should act devilish its so lame.

Pretty interesting read...
I ask though (only as a question), if you listen to Metal (in any genre) - is there a certain persona/requirement that must be followed/fulfilled ?
Are there certain requirements that must be met, to be seen as a Metal enthusiast ?
Is there an expectation to be followed ?
If so, why would it be necessary ?
(This is in no means questioning methods or lifestyles of others)
I say this, as the more I read into Metal Storm's discussions - I find myself asking these questions...
My listening habits (after making the Metal genre(s) switch 10 years ago) has brought only isolation and it has been a solo endeavour from the very beginning, the never-ending search for music is always constant - leaping from one genre to the next (and its sub genres etc). It has been an incredible journey and I look forward to the future...
I don''t own many physical copies of CD's/vinyl - but it is an increasing pile (the rest is in MP3 purchasing), and I own a couple of Metal tees... That's it...
Would I be recognised as a Metal fan or enthusiast ?

I go when I want to feel good about myself
Kind of like how I go to your mom's bedroom when I want to feel good about myself!
I always wear my most metalist of metal clothes too. Only leather patch-work jackets with patch-work denim vests over it. Ripped up black jeans, studs and spikes everywhere.

Wearing Metal tee's in office honestly is awesome. like in any other office, we have some offbeat shit formal clothes to cover our body up and so do out attitude..bleh.
anyways, on the first day, i wore a Slayer t shirt to the office and boy! i was catching up some really vicious eye looks on me. Boss told me "Okay. first day and I suppose something wrong out here...Yes your clothes." I was like okay puppy.
but its fun to wear some Metal accessories to office and do some real office work. It's like push the fucking sales up buds, we need some aggrandize profits.

You sound like you're asking for the health benefits of a job.
Dude, Metal is all about expressing yourself and being yourself. Don't care what others think or do. That's typically how metal came to be. I don't wear any metal attire (band shirts, leather, long hair), yet I own over 100 CDs. The music is what's important. You can like whatever you want. Don't let anyone else tell you different.
If you can't deal with all that, either don't bother listening to it or listen to it in your closet (metaphorically speaking).

Lol @ the health benefits comment - I completely agree with what you're saying though.
To be honest I've never really given it much thought before, but seeming how the community of MS has different backgrounds/interests etc. I became interested in the subject as a whole, to get different opinions etc. or what is important to them.

Pretty much. Be yourself - an individual. Make up your own mind and don't let others influence your opinions. Accept that people will always laugh at you no matter how much you try to conform. And some people will laugh at you for trying to conform. It's a no-win situation and there's no point in caring about what other people think about you. Listen to whatever the fuck you want and chill.
In fact, that doesn't mean you're restricted to metal. It doesn't even mean you have to listen to metal at all. I guess it's more of a life philosophy that seems to be better represented by the metal legions... :/

Ok the opening post... Man you ARE RIGHT !!!!!
fuck... you're a genius, I wouldn't have said it better myself.. not only sometimes, most of the times they anoy the fuck out of me.... at shows, at work, in the street... at bars everywhere, some of them obviously are nice.. im not saying they are all morons, but when I see one judging for physical traits or musical tastes it makes me wanna punch a face. DUDE ! you're doing exactly what you fight against.. lol anyways. And for the jokes though -_- I don't see what you mean there, I thought everyone liked jokes.... who doesn't like a good laugh ! eh eh
though I must say im not perfect myself, I gotta admit I hate the whole pop culture, but lots of my friends do listen to pop music and shits I hate, that doesn't make them assholes or idiots... just different than me thats all.
oh and the guy who said he loved his Cds, man I feel you... I never download, I order.. fuck I love my cds, I have to get the physical copy else I don't buy it -_- you can think its lame I don't give one simple fuck. If I could polish them, I'd probably do it lol... and for the whole individuality thing, yeah ur all probably right, but eh, I love wearing my bands shirts and ripped jeans ... does that make me one of those anoying fucks ? I don't think so, its just personal tastes...

They can be rechargeable but in the series of Walkman I think it ain't possible and if it is, it comes in the higher value which people tends not to buy it.

Rechargable AA batteries for Walkmans can be bought, just as there are recharable bateries for ipods.

Like Lithium batteries can really work out for I Pods which I think for Walkman inevitably doesn't work at all.

You need AA batteries for walkmans, and recharageable AA batteries wrok fine for walkmans. Ffs I used to use them myself until my walkman broke down.
