After 5 albums in a bit over 3 years, Teramaze waited 18 months before releasing their next effort; it’s hardly a long wait, but it might have been just long enough to recalibrate and get back on form.

Just got the promo for this album, and on first listens it's a step up from the last album; having Nathan Peachey back on board obviously helps, but the songwriting feels more serious, and they've gone more full-on prog than the last album (and arguably one before it) were

Metal Addiction
This album showcases a quite nice blend of progressive metal and melodic hooks. With intricate guitar work, dynamic rhythms, and emotive vocals, the album takes listeners on a journey through themes of struggle, redemption, and self-discovery. However, I think that this release fails to display modern progressive metal that deserves recognition among the genre's well-made works.
