It has gotten out of control. There are way too many now. I thought that's why we had band names so that people can recognize them. At least it's to tell what style of metal will be forgotten in two years.

@ Gonzo, Yep he looks white I doubt too many brown people would know what hardcore dancing is not to mention even try it. I agree about the lame crowd though. Generally fests have a decent turnout. The last time I played in pune, there was a crazy crowd, but that was an indoor venue.

The only problem I have with new "metal heads" is that I actually have to explain why a metal head can, and often probably do, hate bands such as Korn, Dead By April and crap like that.

Otherwise, I was probably just as horrible over a decade ago when I started following the genre.

Completely agree. I absolutely hate all these kids who dress like effing Scene Golems (Girl jeans, neon colored clothed, tuques indoors, long straightened hair usually dyed black). My school is infested by the garbage look and associated music. All this rise of BMTH, A Day To Remember, Asking Alexandria, Chelsea Grin, August Burns Red, Devil Wears Prada trash is constantly spawned and it all sounds the god damn same yet these stupid kids feel that they can call themselves metalheads. They are a complete disgrace and I want to kick every one of them in their tiny nuts (Obviously tiny when you wear girl jeans).

just to point out that here those ninjas are rare on metal gigs...
mostly because the places where metalheads gather are for them to extreme(i mean those kids are like 14-19 years old,the crowd is like 17-40 years old),and also here that ninja style is still way out of mainstream...but here and there you can find that kind of gigs and ...honestly i avoid them...
