Here you can share with your fellow metalstormers your sorrow, your frustration of missing those concerts. Do not forget to tell us why you missed them.
As for me, the last concert I missed was Dream Theater playing at our capital. Why did I miss these Progressive Metal deities? I had no way of getting into San Juan that night so I had to miss it.

I don't know which is the last concert I miss, but I know which is the next I'm gonna lose! It's Manowar and Rhapsody since it will be in Easter and I'll be damn away! Damn! But I don't really regret it... after all it's only... Manowar... the kings off metal! Anyway, I've only regretted on missing the Iron Maiden / DragonForce concert in 2004 in Athens... Damn! Two great bands for only 30 euros! I'll be damned! This year they came alone for 60 euros! Damn! Damn! Damn! If only I had skipped my exams to visit them, as many dudes did...  Fuck!

Written by Deadsoulman on 02.03.2007 at 23:03 Wait, you had tickets but you just didnt go because of apathy and drunkery?...Man you Europeans are spoiled with your metal shows, a decent show like that doesnt come through my area very often (in fact maybe once every 6-8 months.) so theres no such thing as being too drunk or lazy to go to the show.

You know we indeed are a bit spoiled, at least in Paris, since this is the type of show that you can see every two or three days here. I can almost say there are too much shows in Paris, with the very bad consequence that most of them are empty.

Last show I missed was Kreator, Celtic Frost, Legion Of The Damned and Watain. I missed it for several reasons; lack of cash, hate the venue for its overpriced-ness and poor poor sound, 18+ gig and I couldn't get on the guestlist. I'm not too bothered; Watain were the band I wanted to see most but I heard they're doing headlining gig sometime in the future. I haven't heard LOTD, Frost I have seen live and they played ultra slow which wasn't a good thing and Kreator would have been a blast. Especially since I missed them two years ago on the Enemy Of God tour. Oh well.

Something really painfull is having 2 exams changing date and time, but it's much more painfull to get them changed one just before Therion and the other one early next morning. (btw, at least I managed to get through both of them!)

I missed Suffocation last week because they had the great and incomprehensible idea to move the show from Lyon (where I live) to Annecy (130kms from there). It was on a weekday and as I'm working I wasn't prepared to drive all the way there to see Suffocation. And I already know I'm gonna miss the Lyon Metal Fest next weekend because I'm going to Disneyland with my girlfriend, of all things That's not really bothering since the lineup is not exactly my type (Trivium and stuff) but I wish I could see Annihilator

ISIS were playing in Ljubljana on Sunday, but I couldn't find anyone who would want to go with me (I hate going alone to concerts) and then a friend phoned me and asked me if I had any time to go play guitar with him. Still it wansn't an easy choice, but I chose the guitar instead of the concert.
