Lamb Of God - Announce New Album Due February

Lamb Of God have commenced recording on the follow up to 2006's Grammy-nominated "Sacrament". Their new album is scheduled for release in February 2009 and will be produced by Josh Wilbur. Josh Wilbur is well known for his Grammy Award winning work with Steve Earl. The album will be recorded in New York City; Virginia Beach, VA; Richmond, VA; and New Hampshire.

The album will see a North American release on Epic Records with Roadrunner Records handling all NON North American releases.

Band drummer Chris Adler states, "We are excited change things up this time and work with Josh. We've never stayed in one place too long, and the evolution continues. There is an aggressive shift in the material and our approach. The bar has been raised."

Lamb Of God shipped gold with their double DVD "Walk With Me In Hell" and after five weeks are rapidly approaching platinum status.

Following production, Lamb Of God will head out on an extensive world tour commencing with their support slot in December with Metallica.

i know how you feel, my friend jeff is OBSESSED with them. im pretty sure he'd go gay for the drummer, seeing as how hes a drummer himself. let the ridiculousness begin, i suppose.

I liked this band a much when I only had Ashes Of The Wake, since I got the other albums, band has been nothing special. But still, curiously looking for this new one.

I had a Lamb of God craze for like a day. Now I cant listen to them for more than one album or so before I have to wash the semi bad taste out of my mouth with some good old school Slayer.

Good point. Grammys aren't worth very much value wise.

just becasue someone was nominated doesnt mean they sold out :S .... they werent even asked if they wanted to be nominated.

this is just like when metallica started off with their first video clip SOLD OUT, but then look at it now, every band has them.

MEH..

atleast the new album news is one of the best for next year, and that early IT IS GREAAT.. cant wait.
