You mean music that makes you in the the spirit of Satan? Metal goes down not up, its so downlifting that you just cant stop Dont try to force it up, if youre chosen to go down.

I find Black Metal in general uplifting. Much more than Powermetal, which bores me to death. For me, uplifting has nothing to do with lyrics. It is a matter of music and vocal delivery. Intensity helps when it comes to music being uplifting.
A few people mentioned Thrash and Slayer to be uplifting music. I agree.
Imo, something you find boring can't be uplifting for you. Exactly how I feel about Powermetal. I don't think uplifting = flowery and happy, with cheesy lyrics that sound naive and childish.
