One of the best topics)
as i wrote earlier, most of all i like wheat beer (any), besides, i like IPA and sometimes stouts. And after i've been to Lithuania, i had new love - lithuanian beer: Dundulio, Gubernijos Kvietinis, Vilniaus Nefiltruotas and others.

Never think beer when I think of Lithuania:) It's quite interesting to try beers from different countries.

And cans... Sweden not long named Ska Brewing's Modus Hoperandi the best canned beer in the world.

Finally had Hopslam this year, hard to find, suddenly it's all over. Almost lived up to the hype. Really good beer, wasn't horribly expensive (compared to the overrated Dogfish Head 120), but it had a lofty expectations given it's known as one of the best 2 IPA's out there. The other bing Pliny The Elder. Was a relatively smooth 10% IPA. It will remain a "buy on sight" beer.

For some reason, the IPA's don't appeal to me that much, not much of a hops fan.
I do enjoy the weiss beers, stouts, kolsch and belgian triple's and as well. Damn, I need to head back to Europe

We've got some decent kraft beers here. It still hasn't progressed to being bottled yet, so you can't buy it at the supermarket or liquor stores, but you can walk into a brewery and get yourself some for now. I guess 10-15 years down we'd have a pretty good beer scene.

In your honor, my fave Indian, while not an Indian proper beer, it's at least Indian inspired... the Bombay Berserker. Clown Shoes does a lot of clever stuff, mostly good beer.



Will be consuming after my treadmill fun today. Will probably need to log an extra 10 min in advance to "earn" it.

Even though the IPA traces back to the brits in india, we don't have IPA's apart from those sold at microbreweries(which only exist in 2 cities as far as I know). Lagers are what you will find here in great abundance. My favourite has to be a pilsner from Goa called Kings, apart from that you get the usual Kingfisher, which is what we usually go with if you're at a normal pub. Quite boring the beers here :/

Might be true. But I Always find a Kingfischer to go down really well with a vindaloo or phaal

that particular beer is a chocolate stout, only with some Indian spices/flavors added. did a decent job in hiding the 10%...

yeah, IPA has little to do with India besides the point it was a higher octane beer brewed for the trips from Europe to India. needed a stronger beer to make the trip as the alcohol kept the drink safe.

IPA is good, but some how most overated beer after lagers and pilseners
I have tryd like 5 IPA 's Fullers,Gotlands, and some others, was OK but not my fav, but I can anjoy it , if there wil new or I will go soemwere and there what I never have tryd I will try it

Hahahaha did you just say phaal ?? No fucking way you get that in Europe. Coz that's like PROPER street food. I guess it's sorta like your steaks, so kinda makes sense to sell it there.

KF is what we normally drink here, it's not bad but it's not great either. I also drink a lot of this brand called UB, it's cheap and pretty good. Once I get a few beers down, it doesn't really mater to me anyway

stouts, porters, ales, veizen, beers made in trapistet mosntery, IPA's some ales, and so on are bets not ordinary mainstream beer

I mean do you eat your meal, hotdog mc Donal with drinking beer at the same time ? I used to drink export beer Heineken, tiger as I posted in the pic page previous.. I drink it in meal with noodle. It taste great with bitter scent of beer mixing noodle sour taste.. I like it very relax.. But when I ask an one of my roommate. He's Dutch when he know I drinking beer with eating noodle, he shows disgusting sign.. Yup so I ask the culture thing, cuz I need to know if westerner America etc drinking beer with foods or not..? I have joined some party. Ppl just drinking and talk walking around but seems not eating much.. While hanging out in Asia ppl sitting at table joking around talking loads with beer and foods..

Awesome it's taste even touch from screen : ))) I really like beer with eating cuz I like drink and eat a lots cuz it's good taste as I want to be big and sounds relax.. 1 arrow two birds..

I do at home, but I prefere try new beers just try no food, just feal it taste, when beer is tated I drink it and in those plöaces we can have only non alcohlical drings like american style

I just read article about irish stouts n porters and they guyw ho were theys aid real and small brevery stouts is possible get only in fiew pubs in Dublin, Cork and Killkaney and evcen in super markets its hard to get because 95% of ppl drink guinness, killkaney, murfies and beamish (I never have tryd it)
I am hanging out whit Killkenny and Guinness now since its sSt patrics day, I cant get other irish stouts n beers here, so ... damn I wanna export wersion 5% something % alcohoil not standart 4.2% or export where have 6,8% because stronger drinks dont get ba din warm clkimate and they made for colloial use

And here en Norway it's 4,8%, even though the alcohol laws are pretty strict here compared to Sweden. But there is a lot of good beer to buy at Systembolaget (Swedish liqour store), and the prices is about 1/3 of what it is in Norway when it comes to craft beer.

I always buy an Imperial stout called Yeti when I'm in sweden. Damn good American brew by Great Divide Brewing Company. Can't get a hold of hit here.

yes same, they made good stouts n porters and strong 10% or more alcohol, good one, this is what cold Scandi need

Jaipur IPA 5.9%
Last time I drunk IPA was last year ago same time in Arlanda airport, it was 2 pizza slices and one IPA all cost together like 120 krones what was good price, but there were wary hoppy taste and I need take a piss like every 20min. After that I don't remember maybe it was some IPA, cant remember
This is balanced beer. Strong hop taste into it, good coulor (but way to pale, if we can trust Samuel Adams brewing company experts , thay said original IPA was darker , so ..) you need wary little in your mouth palette to feel such bitter taste what is IPA actually, all what I have tried are bitter taste, and this one don't lost its taste after half hour when its opened.
