Sabaton - Working On New Album
Sabaton have offered the following update:
"Finally the time has come to make another album. Many people have asked us if it will be another album with war themes, and of course it will. The lyrics based on historical battles has become the mark of Sabaton and we plan not to leave that, at least for now.
And like on the last album we will now ask all of you fans out there if you have any ideas to help us write the album. So, any ideas for songs about battles can be sent to newalbum [at] sabaton [dot] net, please include links to informations and facts also. Every idea will be read and considered but please remember that Sabaton is mainly focused on more recent events so please do not ask us to write songs a bout vikings, knights... Other bands do that better than us. Please come with ideas that is more unknown, the perfect concept for a song were the story of the 720 Polish soldiers who inspired us to write the song "40:1". We await your ideas."

I think they should write about topics other than war because it gets boring over and over...or at least let them create their own lyrical themes, like a fictional war in the future or space or something they create...might push them to higher a level!

Great news. I would prefer less keyboards in this upcoming album, as with "The Art Of War" sometimes it were to much keys on that one. More gituar riffs and melodies etc would be welcome.

Bands like Bal-Sagoth have written albums around futuristic warfare if you're interested, and Bolt Thrower's early output had a lot of influence from Warhammer 40,000.

Hi! There isnt any songs about Hungary. There are many intresting things in its history, in modern history. For example: - Treaty of Trianon 1920 After WW I this unfair document was the price of the peace. Hungary lost around 2/3 part of its territory.
