While certainly not unsung in the minds of people in the know, Deathrow sort of seemed to get buried in the German thrash pantheon under more popular bands like Kreator, Destruction, and Sodom; and even if they are recognized, it is usually for their more simplistic and primal works like Satan's Gift and Raging Steel. Their third release, however, is their best, a technical masterpiece of violent thrash precision.

More like the most overlooked and underrated album in thrash history. I've been getting a little burnt out on thrash lately, but this album still sounds great. File these guys along with Toxik, Aspid, and Coroner in the "Holy tech thrash insanity this shit needs to be more well known!!!!" category.

Killer album. Have no idea what happened to the band after "Raging Steel", but it sure changed them for the better. The compositions and song structures are totally different here. Songs are longer, but they don't feel like dragging or filler. Even the vocals are better and more varying on this album. And of course, there is the technicality/prog thing going here, keeping it interesting. Like the whole thing went to next level. While the whole album seems like a highlight, to me the latter part of the album with songs such as "Watching The World", "Narcotic" and "Machinery" is a bit more appealing than the anterior part. One question remains: should the album be given 9 or 10 because of the subpar production? I'm feeling like going with a 10 on this, but it could be either way.

Another mediocre 80s thrash album being hailed as something exceptional nowadays.

That sort of thing seems to happen all the time with thrash and death metal. I'll never understand why people hail bands like Massacre as some kind of death/thrash metal icon when, as far as I can tell, they were sub-par for the time (and still are)

Maybe I fall to a quick judgment here but I couldn't bring to listen to this for long. Musically disjointed, but not in a good way. The singer is a bit whiny in my ears.

An underrated Technical/Progressive thrash classic.

For fans of Voivod, Coroner and Toxik.

The mother and father of all tech/prog thrash records, one of the finest of its kind ever alongside No More Color of almighty Coroner. My only problem with this type of music is that it requires a lot of patience to really open up, since it's complex and multilayered like crazy and the lengthy songs might be bit too much for some people. Other that that I don't think there's anything worth mentioning.

Marcels been dead for few months now and you're picking fights with him. You need to calm down and get over the fact that not everyone likes this album.

All that aside it's an okay album. Give me Voivod and Toxik over this any day.

He might not have been aware of that so you should calm down, too.
