Pretty nice stuff the first couple of songs, in fact the three first ones are true metal anthems, too bad the rest of the album doesn't do that much for me. A big down step from the "Dungeons are Calling" EP.

Not superb, but still I'm likin the songs quita lot. And if compared to Fight For The Rock this album looks like a minor masterpiece As a negative: the songwriting is a bit unimaginative and sounds somewhat limited, same as on Sirens. The title track -- minus the intro -- and "Skull Session" stand out as greater songs, while "Hard For Love" stands out as total filler. The verdict: One of the better Savatage albums
