Appalachian Winter - Streaming New EP
Atmospheric one man black metal band Appalachian Winter is currently streaming their new EP Ravenforest, which includes three songs recorded between the albums Winter Eternal and I Become The Frozen Land sometime during 2009-2010. Stream the entire EP here.
Daniel George Klyne explains: "Hey all - there's a few items of news to cover in this update: the most pressing of which involves the three unattributed songs on the mediafire site. That is gone, and has been replaced as an EP called Ravenforest. The same songs are on there as always; 'A Thousand Ravens Fly Forth', 'Elegy To A Burning Forest', and 'Duskfall'. I did make production changes, but those were EQ and reverb effects patches that no longer exist. I felt 'Duskfall' was way too bassy, and I needed to excise audio samples of burning wood on 'Elegy...' due to concerns regarding copyright with sound recordings. But, no remastering and no George Lucas bullshit will taint the songs. These three tracks were recorded between the albums Winter Eternal and I Become The Frozen Land sometime during 2009-2010."
