It has that modern niceness about it, as if it wants to be black metal without sounding abrasive, cold or anything bad - stepmothers dream bm.

Have waited for this release. And yes, it is as good as I hoped it would become.

Wow the drumming on this album is absolutely insane.

This album is criminally underrated, I think it might be the best post-black metal record I've ever encountered. Can't find a single flaw here, the playing is sick, the sound is as stellar as it gets and the songwriting is of stratospheric level. Clocks around almost 50 mins but flies by in a blink of an eye, five songs, each totally unique and standing out on its own. The mood is perfectly crafted as the compositions shape and build up through savage black metal assaults and beautiful calm interludes while never losing the melody. On top of that wonderful artwork and visuals, for those who care (like me). I checked their previous works but they were on a much rawer side of thigs. This however goes straight into my personal musical hall of fame.

Sounds pretty boring to me. It's the same monotonous blast beats throughout. Give me Absu any day over this.

Great melodies and production, with awesome drumming and vocals. Even the bonus track is incredible, the cover art is pretty cool too.

Such a wonderful album, also their best along with Stellar imo. Ein Letzter Tanz is definitely the highlight for me.
