'Decades' is a compilation album released in three different formats (2CD digipak, 2CD earbook and 3LP box) on the same date in which the Decades: World Tour is set to start in Atlanta, U.S.A., with a special setlist which will feature rare songs and revisitations of other classics of the band during 64 total dates.

A bit unfortunate that they didn't re-record some of the songs with Floor. Would have been interesting to hear imo. Something like Iced Earth's "Days Of Purgatory", it's sometimes kind of fun hearing some of the older songs with another voice and style. For people already familiar with their work, I don't really see much value to this.

Holopainen doesn't like the idea of re-recordings. I'm glad they didn't go that route. Also, quite an unexpected tracklist. "10th Man Down" instead of the EP title-track? Odd Oceanborn picks (no "Stargazers"). Bless the Child, Ever Dream, Wishmaster...?
