Now, there are a lot of bands in the world and an impossibly large amount of music for any single one of us to ever possibly experience in our lifetime. There are certain songs people may never listen to because even if they tried out a certain band they may have happened upon one of the less gripping songs in their discography and totally wrote them off after that point.

This is where this topic comes into play.

We all have bands who have that "one song" that we really love regardless of whether we enjoy the rest of their music or not and these are the songs that it's possible that others might also love even if they aren't into the band in general. Or perhaps someone has never heard of the band and this awesome song will help others discover them. Enough blathering about though, here are a few suggestions off the top of my head...

"Samael - Supra Karma"

Samael isn't a band that I find particularly exciting in general, they're good at what they do but it just isn't entirely my style. Supra Karma, however, is a song I'll absolutely lose myself to and could listen to ten times in a row without it losing my interest. There are few songs that capture a vibe this perfectly.

"Elysion - Made Of Lies"

I got into an operatic metal stage, partly due to a lucky haul at a local music shop, and this was by far one of the standout songs from that excursion. Good energy, awesome chorus, and uses all of the strengths of the band to their fullest.

"Elysian Fields - Shall They Come Forth Unto Us"

And for the black metal fans out there, one of the greatest integrations of violin into a metal song in the history of the genre and certainly the best I've been fortunate enough to experience. Enjoy this gem from a slightly more obscure band that might otherwise have been lost to time.

"Samael - Supra Karma"

Oh. I bought Eternal after hearing that song of the radio.

I'd say Metallica's Master of Puppets (dunno, this is the first song popping in my head while I am not a particular fan of Metallica, go figure).

Manowar - Warriors Of The World

This may be the first Manowar song I've knowingly listened to and that was quite good. Super cheesy but I think that was a mark of the time period haha

My story is pretty similar with Supra Karma, I heard it on a compilation album and eventually grabbed the album when I had a chance. Master of Puppets is definitely a great song too, while I'm not the biggest Metallica fan either I do have to admit they have a diverse enough range that everyone can find at least one song in their discography to like.

Risto
Wandering Midget
Ne Obliviscaris - Forget Not

This song in particular has appeal even for people who aren't really into the more extreme forms of metal.

Of course not, probably a figure of speech by OP
So basically this is a thread of "some songs I like"... We don't get enough of those
