Tethra - Recording New Album; Former Bassist Dies
Upcoming death doom metal record from Italian act Tethra is in working process. All instruments for the follow-up to 2017's Like Crows For The Earth are recorded, with only vocals left. Greek singer Gogo Melone (Aeonian Sorrow and Clouds) also joins as a guest vocalist on the album. More updates to follow.
Band says: "We are proud to reveal the first collaboration for the new album, she is Gogo Melone, a talented greek singer from, Aeonian Sorrow and Clouds who will sing together with Clode on a song. Since she sent us her melancholy and ethereal vocal tracks we're amazed by how her style blended so well with our sound and we're looking forward to sharing the final result of this killer song with all of you.
In other news, Tethra have announced that their former bassist Giuseppe Aufiero has died. Guiseppe was part of the band between 2012 and 2016.
