Finland's power metal band Seraphiel announced that after one year of collaboration they and Italian singer Paolo Ribaldini are going separate ways.

Comment the band: As you all know, Seraphiel has had many unfortunate turns of events regarding lineup changes throughout the years and it was just a matter of time when the next inconvenience takes place? on Monday 29th of March, Paolo told the rest of the crew that he has been feeling a bit unmotivated lately and after thinking a couple of days, he confirmed that he will retire from music to pursue his dreams as a professional boxer. We are extremely sad but at the same time we feel proud that he had the guts to pursue what he truly wants in life. Best of luck on your path, brother!

Paolo Ribaldini states: ''I have been involved in music for almost all my life now and during that time I feel that I have explored almost every aspect and feeling it has to offer me. I have been feeling a bit detached and indifferent when teaching or making music. Having to train boxing for the music video opened my eyes a little and I feel that I now have bigger boots to fill. I have always loved the Rocky Balboa movies and they have had a huge influence over me when growing up. I never really thought that I had what it takes, but practicing with my coach showed me that I have the natural talent and skillset to quit my job and go professional! I want to thank my former colleagues and students for the awesome times together, but now it's my time to shine and kick some serious ass!"
