Just revisited Immortal. The new guy needs more than just one pair of thick socks to fill CJ McCreery's boots.

Yeah, I've listened to the song "Immortal" about as much as any song this year, and for all his many alleged sins, McCreery was a pretty excellent vocalist for this style. I get Travis Ryan vibes from the new guy, albeit not at quite the same level

The ear gauges immediately turn me off, but I'll reserve judgment.

This band used to be pretty awful, but with their new symphonic elements, they've become close to good. Here's hoping they can continue trending in a positive direction and possibly crank out some material on par with similar bands such as Shadow of Intent and Ovid's Withering.

Side Note - Kind of odd now that I think about it how 2 of these 3 bands I just mentioned (LS and OW) have had issues with band members being accused of abusing women. What gives with Symphonic Metalcore?
