I'm sure this album will be the best in the Progressive Deathcore genre in 2022.

It's a great album. Slightly less approachable than the last one, and a bit less melodic too. But I feel it is heavier and more atmospheric. "Pandora", "Far From Heaven" and "Collateral Damage" are the highlights for me. Still, one of the few deathcore bands I enjoy.

I've never been a Fit For An Autopsy fan but this one pushed the right buttons for me. The progressive elements really bring life into this, and the groovy, "Gojiresque" moments are sublime. I also like the clean vocals, more Deathcore outfits would benefit from this IMO. Solid 8.6 from me.

The Gojira bits are very on-the-nose, but the way they're brought in mean that they don't really detract. this is a solid record - Two Towers really stands out

It must be me, but I actually didn't like this album at all, eventhough I've tried several times, I just reach the point where I just want it to end. I can hear the Gojira likeliness here, but I've never been into Gojira, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised I don't like this.

Actually, I quite liked this album, but the Gojira influence is what I like the least, it felt a bit out of place to me ..

Not being a huge Gojira fan it's surprising to find those are the parts I enjoyed most. Strong first impression. Don't know if it'll resist further listens but for now I´m pretty hooked.

Edit: a few spins later it's still awesome and growing

Out of the 3 albums I heard from them (the most recent ones) this one might be my favorite, almost edging into 9/10 territory

Really solid album. "in shadows" is one of their best imo.
