Scorpions Ranked 🦂

Scorpions one of my favorite bands, in the last couple of years I started listen much often the 70’s records and those records grows up on me.
The band of the seventies is hard heavy and obscure, with Uli Roth amazing guitar work, thats why I change completely the original my maybe order of this list.

Pioneers on the hard rock and early heavy metal scene in Germany.
Scorpions started in late 60’s, in 1972 they recorded their debut album, the band's only album with lead guitarist Michael Schenker – just 16 at the time of the recording – as a full-time member. He soon left to join UFO and was replaced by Ulrich Roth until 1978. After that the band lead by Klaus Meine And Rudolph Schenker wrote the most famous songs and music and got the recognition and worldwide success.

1. Scorpions - Taken By Force
1977 This was the first Scorpions album to feature drummer Herman Rarebell and the final studio album to feature guitarist Uli Jon Roth. Roth left the band in 1978 following the end of the album's tour, and was at first replaced by Michael Schenker and later by Matthias Jabs.
2. Scorpions - In Trance
1975 The music was a complete departure from the progressive krautrock of the two previous albums. Instead, a hard rock sound of shorter and tighter arrangements with which the band would achieve their later global success and fame emerged. Extended suites in the vein of songs such as "Lonesome Crow" and "Fly to the Rainbow" are absent altogether.
3. Scorpions - Virgin Killer
1976 It was released in 1976 and was the band's first album to attract attention outside Europe. The title is described as being a reference to time as the killer of innocence. The original cover featured a nude prepubescent girl, which stirred controversy in the United Kingdom, the United States, and elsewhere. As a result, the album was re-issued with a different cover in some countries.
4. Scorpions - Fly To The Rainbow
1974 In support of the Lonesome Crow album, Scorpions toured as the opening act for the British rock band UFO. At the end of the tour, Scorpions lead guitarist Michael Schenker was asked to fill an open position as UFO's guitarist and accepted the position. Schenker's departure temporarily resulted in the breakup of the band but Rudolf Schenker and Klaus Meine ultimately merged with the band Dawn Road. The new band consisted of guitarist Uli Jon Roth
5. Scorpions - Lonesome Crow
1972 Lonesome Crow is the debut studio album by the German hard rock band Scorpions. It was recorded soon after Scorpions became a fully professional band.
6. Scorpions - Lovedrive
1979 Considered by some critics to be the pinnacle of their career, Lovedrive was a major evolution of the band's sound, exhibiting their "classic style" that would be later developed over their next few albums. Lovedrive cemented the "Scorpions formula" of hard rock songs combined with melodic ballads.
7. Scorpions - Blackout
1982 After losing his voice during the writing of the album, lead singer Klaus Meine had to undergo surgery on his vocal cords and was uncertain as to whether or not he would be able to record. Demos of the material were recorded with singer Don Dokken from Dokken
8. Scorpions - Animal Magnetism
1980 A transition album between 70’s music of the band and the 80’s Sound
9. Scorpions - Love At First Sting
1984 It became the group's most successful album in the US, where it peaked at number 6 on the Billboard 200 chart in 1984, and went double-platinum by the end of the year, reaching triple-platinum status in 1995. The song "Rock You Like a Hurricane" reached number 25 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the same year; "Still Loving You".
10. Scorpions - Savage Amusement
1988 the tenth studio album by the German hard rock band Scorpions, released in 1988. It peaked at No. 5 in the US.
11. Scorpions - Crazy World
1990 Crazy World became the band's only album to reach number one in their home country of Germany.
12. Scorpions - Humanity - Hour 1
2007 Humanity: Hour 1 is a concept album based on a loose storyline by Desmond Child and futurist Liam Carl, which predicts a world torn apart by a civil war between humans and robots. This apocalyptic nightmare serves as a warning shot to all humanity, whose only hope of survival is to reclaim our humanity.
13. Scorpions - Sting In The Tail
2010 Band members explained that the sound of the album would have been similar to that of the classic releases of the 80s, but with a modern twist. The album features a duet on the song "The Good Die Young" with the Finnish symphonic metal singer Tarja Turunen, best known as the former lead vocalist of Nightwish.
14. Scorpions - Face The Heat
1993 This album had a contemporary touch to it, as the band were then going with the current trends, before later returning to their original style in Unbreakable in 2004. This is the last album to feature drummer Herman Rarebell, and the first with Ralph Rieckermann on bass guitar.
15. Scorpions - Unbreakable
2003 In this release, Scorpions return to the style of music of their most successful albums, after experimenting with many different concepts and influences in the 1990s.

Nice list! Probably should make my own Scorpions list soon, and I think my list would be very close to yours with the Uli Jon Roth albums on top. His playing alone is so captivating
