I don't have an answer, but somehow I ended up enjoying this release a lot more than I expected. I really like this new output from October Tide. I really enjoy the bleak atmosphere, and Alex's vocals are as brutal as ever. Just listened to "Rain Without End" the other day, and even though they will never reach the same level of atmosphere and melody they achieved in the 90's with Jonas, their "new" more direct and raw take on their classic sound works mighty well. It's clear that Fredrik is at the top of his game. Hands down, great doom metal album!

Second half of this album is probably the best time I've had this year

They wont undo rain, even going back 20 years in the past, but this sounds as band was written after Rain.

It's their worst release, bar none.

Overall a good album but at the end after a few spins no tracks compelled me to repeat. Still I rate it as a good album bcoz all the tracks were equally good.

Sorry but I found this one to be a be a bit average and mundane.

Found this to be very boring. Not the best song writing of the genre.
