I feel like my ears are fairly seasoned when it comes to crazy, challenging and overwhelming music, and yet this still manages to fuck my mind so nicely. One listen through this and it is easy to call it one of the best death metal records, EVER.

I really liked this album for about 40 minutes. It was dark, chaotic and extremely atmospheric. It was just too damned long for a single sitting. I don't have the time or attention span to sit with this for 1 hour and 25 minutes. I'm going to need to absorb it slowly. Two sittings for the first few listens until I'm a bit more familiar with it. Those first couple of listens intrigued me enough to order a vinyl copy though.

Review on its way any minute now.  Written by Paz on 08.11.2024 at 08:13 Hard same on this comment. It made it easier to house the two vinyl though. But at least I got way cooler artwork than I honestly expected them to have. And what up with that hooked groove on side C I was like whaaaaaaat why is my living room a fucking hellhole for 5 minutes straight.
