01. Dismembered By The System
02. The Most Painful Way
03. Cattle
04. Sublime State Of Sickness

I've Heard many times "?dude there's no good Death Metal band in Mexico, at least other than The Chasm?" well my friend this time you are wrong, there are a lot of incredible bands here in Mexico, we've got Disgorge, The Chasm (already mentioned), Apokrifos, Cenotaph, Agony Lords, Blaster, Lament, Gholem, this particularly "new" band called Mutilator (a band merged from the ashes of the incredible band "Terrorem" and the blasting "F.U.C.K."), and a very long etcetera.

Mutilator's first demo is packed with incredible catchy riffs, good bass-lines, the most incredible vocals (very similar to Frank Mullen), and detonating music in general. The demo starts with "Dismembered By The System" a song that goes openly to the point, there's no intro (only two drum beats that's all) so the track starts directly from the main riff, then after some time (1:20 to be exact) the song really comes into its own, everything explodes into one amazing sequence (brutal yet catchy riffs, again that awesome shivering voice, blasting drums, etc.) then every kind of musical shapes appear in this song, a great song actually.

The next track begins and goes by nice and smoothly, a very cool bass-line breakdown (2:28), riffs and beats good to headbang and some other good stuff, then the best song on the Demo appears with a weird guitar intro (by "weird" I mean the distortion sounds muddy and dusty) then after 7 seconds of this odd prelude "Cattle" starts and I assure this song will blow your speakers and your mind out, the drumming in this song is amazing (I even heard some irregular drum beats) the cymbals sound unbelievable (specially the ride) the main riff is very catchy indeed, I won't say much because I don't want to spoil the surprise of this incredible song, but here you go,-awesome "Cattle" moments-
-(0:07, prepare yourself, "Cattle" is beginning with a scary scream)
-(0:22, the main riff, catchy anyone?)
-(1:10, random violent sequence with the best screams in the end 1:29)
-(3:01, cool breakdown)
-((3:50, shit dude I want more, I want more)

About the production, well? what can you ask for in a demo, yes it's a good production and all, the sound is clean and loud, but most times the music drowns (specially the bass, it's in fact very difficult to appreciate the bass correctly), and the guitars even sound dirty from time to time, and why o why Mutilator wanted to add that hideous explosion effect in "The Most Painful Way"? (1:01) it sounds so pasted and shit. In the end Mutilator is a very good band in development, yes it's one of those "in a straight line" band but in a good way, just don't expect technical blasting music like necrophagist, or one hour solos, or Drums ala Brann Dailor or anything like this?anyway it's still a demo so this will get better and better and I am looking forward for the full length indeed.
