Actually that's quite an important album in many respects, and rather forward thinking in terms of noise music, one of the earliest examples of it in fact. It's not thought of in the way it used to be anymore, i.e. a joke.

I agree, that video wasn't half bad at all. Quite nice noise if I would say.

In the case of Metal Machine Music it"s actually really enjoyable and contains some, at least to me, beautiful melodies
i can"t like Merzbow though, it contains too many normal electronic sounds for my taste
yet other more modern noise artists, such as Skullflower and Government Alpha, both of which i got to know on this site, although certainly not describable as beautiful, are enjoyable in their way
