Then again the only BaN album I really like is The Work Which Transforms God so I’m guess I’m not really an authority on their music. I just think Mort is rubbish. If I made a list it would just be The Work at #1 with the following Themacity EP at #2. Everything else can fuck right off.

More than 15 years have passed since its release and I cant think of anything similar to it, which makes it more interesting for me. At any rate, I think it is the most BaNish album of their discography with their signature dissonance ramped up to eleven. I just love how abstract and alien it sounds.

Hallucinogen is their melodic and psychedelic take to what MoRT is for their industrial side. It's the only melodic and psychedelic thing he's made to be unique. Emphasizing chants. Batushka-who?
