For me, this one wasn't a grower. The deep space atmosphere is not new for Blut Aus Nord - which was done masterfully in What One Was... Liber III, just to name one example. But unlike their usual approach, this one feels less cold and mechanic and more organic and trippy. It's less about being lost in space and more about being trapped inside a xenomorph nest.

I believe it is far lower from the level that the previous album, despite having the same direction in sound and songwriting.

Not my favorite genre..no need to rate....I tried last 3 albums.....but I cant adjust with it.....

Hahahaha I'm so gonna try this. I have these complete works special edition books of Lovecraft and Poe so kinda wanna find the perfect black metal album to do the same with Poe.

There are portions of this where the higher range of Vindsval’s guitar tone really does sound like the buzzing or wing - flapping of some demented hive mind insect.
