1. The PODIUM
2. Mantar - Pain Is Forever And This Is The End
Is some kind of a grunge/indie rock infused black sludge metal these guys are playing? Don't know, but I like it!
3. Panzerfaust - The Suns Of Perdition - Chapter III: The Astral Drain
Once again brutal, once again terrifyngly melodic e refined. They get better with each new record.
4. Birds In Row - Gris Klein
Energetic, desperate, somehow melancholic, an album in perfect balance between contrasting elements.
5. The OTHERS
6. Abduction (UK) - Black Blood
A splendid texture of riffs that at first glance seem tortuous and yet manage to be surprisingly direct.
7. Abraham - Débris De Mondes Perdus
Atmospheric and lightly dissonant post-sludge with something elusive and intriguing.
8. Ashenspire - Hostile Architecture
A journey that seems to begin with a farewell but reveals itself as a punky, adventurous, angry and delirious trip.
9. Bastions - Majestic Desolation
Relentless post-hardcore which never loses control in its well-channeled assault, that does not dissipate in chaos.
10. Cult Of Luna - The Long Road North
You know what to expect and yet they get louder and then quiter, slower and then faster, and you can't go anywhere else.
11. Deathspell Omega - The Long Defeat
They are the dark masters of nothingness and their black mass is simply indisputable.
12. Desolate Shrine - Fires Of The Dying World
A dynamic wall of riffs crossed by a voice that comes from the depths of the earth.
13. Gaerea - Mirage
Theatrical, lacerating - and yet brilliant - hardcore tinged black metal.
14. Gorycz - Kamienie
Here is some weird Polish black metal that does not need an enormous power to be subtly evil.
15. Hate & Merda - Ovunque distruggi
Those words, those yells, that fury! This is the sound of hate mixed with shit (merda).
16. Hegemone - Voyance
This is a post-metal so dense in its atmospheres, that is somehow, at the same time, cold as black and hot as sludge.
17. Hexis - Aeternum
An hardcore assault that stabs with black metal malignity and strangles with sludge metal ferocity.
18. Immolation - Acts Of God
They know how to do it: violent, relentless, percussive, heavy and still melodic and various as only Immolation can be.
19. Misþyrming - Með Hamri
In between their chaotic first and the riff driven sophomore work, with details and arrangements that only great albums have.
20. Morgue Supplier - Inevitability
Wait a minute! A grind album that is articulated, various and unpredictable? If this really exists, must be some great stuff!
21. Non Serviam (FRA) - We Are Nothing But Your Krill
Industrial lunacy, edgy and misanthropic: they take no prisoners here.
22. Psychonaut - Violate Consensus Reality
Since their emersion from the underground, they're simply demonstrating to be great in what they do i.e. progressive post-metal.
23. Sisyphean - Colours Of Faith
Thick and dissonant, with black shades over some pure Death Metal brutality.
24. Sundowning - In the Light of Defeat, I Cease to Exist
Alienation and slowness reign over this post-doom very consistent and heavy album.
25. Terzij De Horde - In One Of These, I Am Your Enemy
A fierce aggression made of savage screams and icy black metal triumphant riffs inserted in great sonic architectures.
26. Verberis - Adumbration Of The Veiled Logos
Esoteric and cloudy compositions in search of the deep misteries of black metal.
27. Wiegedood - There's Always Blood At The End Of The Road
Inside the hypnotic repetition of a desperate torture sound you can hear the wild screams of the damned.
28. The FIRST ALBUMS
29. Chat Pile - God's Country
To be pissed off and kicking through the rough notes of punk-noise sludge.
30. Doldrum - The Knocking, Or The Story Of The Sound That Preceded Their Disappearance
An evocation of restless spirits, ritual like a mass and angry like an unheard prayer.
31. Patroness - Fatum
There are so many things in this album, that you end up believing you listened to five different great debuts.
32. Sunrise Patriot Motion - Black Fellflower Stream
Acid and somehow psychedelic, this album successes in mixing beautifully things that should not get so well together.
33. Vanhävd - Vila
Hallucinating, horrifying blackened doom that twists and turns and stays in your ears like a nightmare.
34. ...

If Lovecraft himself could listen to this, it would be scare the shit out of him.

38. Lord Mantis - Tormentor
Just two songs left over from a ten years ago album? All right, but what crazy songs out of an hell of an album.
