I haven't listened to a lot of new releases this year, I still have 5-6 I want to listen to by the time the year is over or at least until the MS Awards.

Definitely need to check out some of these  I've totally missed that Spock's Beard released an album this year.Have you heard the new Styx album? Probably my favourite from this year.

Posts: 5659 Written by majormalfunction on 18.12.2025 at 21:27 I heard they released a new album, not interested I'm afraid. Nothing they released in recent years has peaked my interest. I do like a couple of their 70s albums. I might speak with prejudice (considering they have a few very weak albums). I didn't know Presto Ballet released new music, this one will get a listen from me soon. I've yet to make time for the new Pattern-Seeking Animals, it's been a while since it was released. New music from Echolyn, Destruction, Rage, The Flower Kings (every time i started listening, I got interrupted, funny...).

Solid list, I’m no thrash fan but that Coroner album is a ripper! I haven’t heard most of these but I’m gonna check out some of the ones in your top 10 I’ve missed

I would say it's one of their best since the 70's. Blue Eyed Raven, She Knows, It’s Clear.. so many great memorable songs on it. Another one to recommend is the new Pagan Altar album, that one was great as well.
