New band of the three former Angra's musicians: Andre Matos, Luis Mariutti and Ricardo Confessori with Luis' brother called Hugo on guitars. The four Brazilian guys play in their own particular kind of heavy metal, which is called 'Mystic metal' by them. This music makes us travel through times - with songs such as 'Fairy Tale', a wonderful medieval theme - and through spaces - with songs such as 'Over Your Head' and its Arabic feeling or 'For Tomorrow'. Nevertheless, Shaman has produced pure heavy metal jewels as 'Here I Am' or 'Pride' (starring Tobias Sammet).

Angra has a few songs that are better than anything on this album...but as a whole album, its better than anything Angra ever put out.

Except for Temple of Shadows which is by far their best album, even if it doesn't have any of their best songs in it.

Best record by Shaman hands down, one of the most successful blends of ethnic music and power metal.

Have to disagree here and give my opinion. While this album is amazing and Shaman's best, Angra has way more superior albums and songs. Would pick almost any Angra record over this let alone their classics like Rebirth or Temple Of Shadows. Even Secret Garden was better imo.
