Pallbearer is always a standout act to my ears. While many doom bands have become too gothic, too stoner, or too funeral, Pallbearer continued the legacy of traditional doom that few in the past 20 years have managed to and have since become a cult act in the underground. First track is mediocre af. Album art is ugly as hell as well. Seems like this is going to be a major step back from Heartless. Hopefully I'm wrong.

One of those years when doom album what goes to GMN direction wins and get some points. First song I thought I listen Brimstone Coven, later it goes to 40 Watt Sun, Spirit Adrift, Atlantean Kodex, Khemmis defection

Skimmed some of the tracks, really not feeling it. Gonna have to find some time to listen proper, but it isn't looking good for my tastes. Compared to their previous efforts, this seems like a dramatic leap backwards.

Gotta agree with the awful mixing. I would listen to their previous album just because of how beautiful the mix sounded, so clean. With this one I press pause before any track ends because it’s so dirty.
