Like Countless Skies, this has major Insomnium vibes; however, I'd say this one does a slightly better job than Countless Skies at channelling that melancholy in its best moments (notably Witnesses To The Fall Of Night)

Yeah but Countless Skies has melodies and hooks that stick with you more than this, at least to me.

I get later era In Flames vibes from this record. Like, this is the sound In Flames should have changed into opposed to the Hot Topicore band they became.
