Sì-XIV gives me serious Mastodon vibes and has some really awesome riffs toward the end of the song. Definitely stoked to hear what the rest of this album will bring.

Didn't know the band but this record grows and grows. Definitely a highlight early in the year that will have a spot on my personal top list.
Favorites at the moment are Omega Severer, Towers and Satuya.
Checking out their debut next. If it's anywhere near as good, I got a new favorite band!

The singer really really grates on me. I can't stand that style. I almost listened to this 4 times, but I couldn't get through the 4th spin. It's a shame because musically it seemed pretty solid

Superb guitars, such groovy and innovative riffs. My favourite track will have to be the court of the matriarch. By the 8th track title, Mlechha means untouchable (caste system) in India.

This right here is amazing. it's atmospheric and epic, melodic while being heavy and overall great.
it's also Mastodony in some parts, and the singer is very good.
favorite songs : Satuya , Sì-XIV and Towers
Satuya is just EPIC.
one more thing .... the RIFFS
if you like atmospheric sludge / post metal you'll definitely love it
( I'm big on album cover arts and this album has a really cool one so that's another + )

Very good album except for the extended length of certain tracks.

Took me a while to appreciate it, but yes, probably better than the debut. I just can't get into the vocals 100%.

This album is great!!! If it weren't for the boring interludes, it would be even better, I feel like those three interludes really break the flow of the album and I see myself always jumping those tracks. But what a great album nonetheless.

As I listen to SiXiV for the hundredth time - for me, this album is the zenith of metal in the 2020s. This is what any competitors for 'album of the decade' have to take on: 70 minutes of non-stop brilliance that is equal parts heavy, melodic, progressive, technical yet also reaches a primal feeling inside. The huge riffs, the atmospheric soundscapes, the fascinating complex trances like midway into SiXiV and the ending of Court Of The Matriarch, it's just spectacular.

This album is Magnificent with a capital M. Scratches that Mastodon itch with that epic progsludge sound but I also hear a bit of The Ocean, especially in the vocals.

Although Voidkind is a pretty solid album it's never clicked with me nearly as much as this previous effort has, this is just some sensational progressive sludge, in fact it's the best I've heard in from this category since Mastodon Leviathan. The only downside for me is the few interludes which I often find myself skipping, but other than that it's remarkable, "Omega Severer", "Sì-XIV", and "Satuya" being my personal highlights.
