The two avalaible singles seem correct. They put an effort on songwriting. But what about the rest of the album?

This is good , easy metal, rock music in 80s inspired songwriting whit soft vocals. It works, since band has own fan base

There's nothing exactly clever about this album but It's fun and catchy, with some decent riffs and choruses, so a solid enough attempt at reminiscing the glory days of heavy metal. The songwriting is a little on the generic side though, and I obviously would have liked a bit more speed at times. I wasn't awfully keen on the vocals either, they seem a wee flat, anc lacking passion, but still I wouldn't mind seeing a live performance by them though, it might be a different experience.

For me the highlights are "Father Time", and "Catch Me", although the rest ain't all that bad either.

I think the songwriting has really improved compared to previous releases, as well as the production and solos.
But yeah, it's impaired by recurring defects, the singer's voice, the generic fashion, and also I realised the drum beats that are too often regular kick snare kick snare... I can't listen to Barricade for this reason

There's plenty of songs that could have been left on the cutting floor, but that goes for most Haunt albums. Not strange at all considering the rate at which they put out albums.. Hope they take their time to create a complete, well mixed and produced album, with less filler, next time around.

First time listening to this band. The flat production and vocals destroy the great guitarwork. What a shame.
