Consistency can be a double edged sword. Sacrificing curious excitement for safe quality assurance. You probably don't need this review, or even to actually listen to this album, to know that the new Revocation is good. I've been wanting to get into Revocation for a long time now, but felt like their sound was missing a little something. These last two albums have really hit that sweet spot of melodic and groovy that I'm always looking for. Might bump this up to a 9...who knows the future...not me...

This is a decent record, it has some solid riffs, decent vocals, and solid songstructures and has a fine production too. It's nothing particularly memorable but at the same time there's nothing to dislike about it either imo.
