This album is fantastic, it has so many influences and is excellently made and amazingly performed, last two tracks, in particular, are fantastic. I can't believe I missed it last year.

I couldn't agree more. Not only is this my favorite album of 2022 and the only 9/10 I gave last year, it's also the only album of 2022 that can still put a big smile on my face. Hearing Jade Monserrat's growls makes me genuinely happy and I actually think she's one of the greatest death metal vocalists right now.

Anyway, I'm really glad this album made it into the MS Awards, but then again I have absolutely no idea why Freedom Of Fear still seem to be completely unknown outside of Australia. It's a complete mystery to me.

I actually wouldn't have discovered this if not for searching through last years aoty results, and I'm so glad I did, I've been spinning it throughout the day, I'm just gutted I didn't discover it sooner, but better late than never. I also agree Monserrat's are amazing and amongst the best in death metal atm.
