Swamping us with top quality black metal albums, yet again, 2023 is another far from disappointing year. Well, saying that, let's throw another one your way: how about the famous USBM trio Uada? A band that seemingly gets better with each release, so what can we expect from their highly anticipated Crepuscule Natura?

I just finished listening to this, and I am beyond impressed. They have come such a long way from being (very good) Mgła rip-offs in their debut. The two albums that followed were ok, but nothing too special. Now, the shitstorm with Sloan is definitely not a good thing, but this is their best album, in my opinion, and I believe it may end up being the best melodic black metal release this year.

For me that's exciting to hear in a year that saw Blackbraid II and A Journey Told Through Fire, not to mention awesome albums from Arkona, Enslaved, Dødheimsgard, Mesarthim...

Can't wait to listen!

Edit: Listened to the stream ahead of release. It's very good!

Bad English
Tage Westerlund
I like lenght, and melodies here. But somehow some riffs are rawish. I can't say bad words, but I won't rate whit 10 either. Nice such bands put new albums out, but it's same old story they are own rif off or debut are best. But I like riffs and drums here a lot.

Retraversing The Void is my fav song, best riffing n drumming.

I stand whit Ukraine and Israel. They have right to defend own citizens.

I've had this album on repeat since the limited bandcamp release, The whole album flows together so well. Uada has once again proved they create albums that are meant to be listened to front to back. My only critique was the mixing, I think "cult of a dying sun" had the best mixing of their whole discography. This one felt a lot queiter than all the others

Pains me to think of the characters involved in making this album but I have to admit I enjoyed it.

Great album. I don't know why Uada is being compared to Mgla, they don't sound alike at all. I think they both have their own unique take on black metal, and this is definately top tier

I don't think they have done anything better than the last album. Still a good one. But there's some problem with the sound maybe due to some error while recording.

In the beginning I was made of clay. Then I bit the apple and they changed me to metal 🤘

This was really really melodic. The songs are also written well. Right up my alley.
