Why is this band getting so much attention, I will never understand.

Written by JoHn Doe on 25.08.2023 at 00:05 I did a review of the previous album, it drew some attention to it, and then the guy behind the band and some of his mates (/alt accounts, I don't know for sure) commented heavily on the review thread and ignited conversation. To be honest, it wasn't my intended outcome (I think the guy has a self-confidence that definitely spills over into arrogance, but it's also not a load of fun to have instigated a dogpile onto his work), and I feel his album prior to Waiting For The King, while not being particularly good, wasn't terrible. I've not listened to this new one to see how it compares, but Waiting For The King was very amateurish in several ways, and so much attention got drawn to it by the thread with the artist, that it probably inspired people to look at the next Hercules release, and by the sounds of it, it seems to have similar quality levels, which likely causes some amusement in a world where well-intentioned incompetence can cause entertainment compared with the plentiful amounts of competently produced mediocrity (see the cult following that Neil Breen movies have, for instance)

I am a fan of this band and while those programmed drums are starting to get old especially after Metal Pounding (Gold Version) which has real drums, I like the compositions and executions. It has raw emotion inside and very good guitar solos. I love Camera Magnet and Call to Power!

If you are referring to me being the man behind the band himself, (because I saw on the other comments that people claim he is creating fake accounts to boost his review score) you are actually wrong. I am really a fan of the band and just wanted to individually write a good comment on this album. I am a die-hard fan of Hercules and I want to support them. I do understand why most people don't like this album. The programmed drums, the DIY production, the lack of professional sound engineering/ design but I believe this band has charm altough I do think he should release albums with real drums and a different sound design on the rest of the instruments at some moment.

That being said, I just have to admit that I had a blast reading all your flattering reviews on that other platform and I do hope you can convey some of your exuberant enthusiasm for these masterpieces to our forum as well. Peace!

But please understand that this is a very confusing situation for us. Because so far, every user who had anything positive to say about any Hercules album came from the band's immediate circle ("Voice on Fire of Prometheus by Stamos Ioannou" - and now please don't say that's NOT you), or it was Chris Andreadakis himself.

So, track 11 is named after the vocal performance on these albums?
