Ow what a junkie trip.. instrumental complexity to cover all the ''natural phylosophy'' of psilocybe and that thing that give us the pocket size sun... XD

First half of 90s was a hard time for metal but it has its own masterpieces. This one is the most beloved by me.>)

While it sounded a bit boring at first, I was eventually blown away by it. Amazing, truly unique-sounding album.

Very creative and very unique album. Every song is great, no exception. I guess my favorites are Visionaire, Gaia and Do You Dream Of Me?. This last one has an atmosphere that I like so much.

I just realized that the song "Pocket Sized Sun" is not "Pocket Sized Gun". I've been reading that wrong for over a year now.

This is my way to this band 8 winters ago or was it more?
Between old and new, still TV, and CD, begging of I net, I saw video ''Gaia''
I was blown away, musically this is doomster type of album, what I like, excellent album, best from Tiamat
Somehow I net killed a meaning to fraise underground, old days we dig up weird bands in weird ways, tape sharing, radio and so on, nowadays spotify and YouTube killed a underghround, nothing cant be weird

What a unique album! Whatever that hurts and Gaia are among the best that has ever been released in the context of metal. Unfortunately their last excellent work.
Edit: We were smoking the shit out of this back at the time.

HoolLeeesssSSSsssssshhhhhhHIiiiTTttt.
Old comment I understand with slight context missing but seeing that opinion alone has got to be raised up and revised. There's an indisputable amount of classics or masterpieces from those first 6 years more than you remember. If anything remote to your view it's the later 90's contrastingly that has more stereotype of being overlooked, difficult yet a conundrum of important work.
Wldhoney's biggest strength to me lies in how this album's atmosphere remains consistent in its constructive flow at expanding its genres. Begins as gothic doom then ascends with folk ambient finally climaxing into orgasmic progressive psychedelia. I believe In The Woods' Omnio, Moonspell's Wolfheart, Paradise Lost's Draconian Times and Type O Negative's October Rust owe some of their impressive formulas gratitude at Wildhoney.

Well, he didnt deny that. He said first half had its masterpieces.
How many do you think he remembers?
Now, he also said that first half of 90s was a hard time for Metal.
And that was the case because Grunge came up.

Not enough at that time posted inevitably compared to now when the 1990s was the most innovative and explosive decade in its history. Booming both from the mainstream and underground especially to which Grunge and Alt haven't got shit numerically when it comes to amounts of classics or masterpieces by the quantities. Every extreme subgenre and their fusion mother that grew to be selective now has its traces in this decade afaik and the mainstream reached the biggest cultural forte it ever did, being measured since.

I feel like a fool calling myself a Gothic Metal fan and never taking this album seriously. I think I heard bits and pieces on Youtube and then moved past it.
Heard it in its entirety for the first time right now and it's on repeat now. I must say a lot of the Gothic Metal coming after this album has just been a subset of this.

This album is unbelievably good! Beautiful music with a real intense atmosphere unlike anything I've experienced in gothic metal. The style has a hint of Moonspell, combined with Paradise Lost about it, and it's amazing just how trippy it is, it's almost as Psychedelic as early Pink Floyd's stuff.
