On paper, it's everything I want. The delivery is off, however. They are not so much a post-black metal band as they are following in the path of other melodic doom/death bands. The unusual production and monotonous growling vocals disconnect me further. On paper it's a 10, but the albums fluctuates between 5 and 7.

I really like this one, a great mix of doom, gothic and post-metal. I find it satisfying dark, mysterious, and melancholic, but I can see why it won't appeal to everyone, it's a style that you'll either really like or simply find boring.
