After reading so many reviews all over the internet, and after almost feeling sick of so many people comparing this new effort with Deicide's 2006 record, I told myself the following: "-Myself, please don't talk about The Stench Of Redemption in your review...PLEASE!!". And now, to be perfectly honest with you, that task is in one word...impossible. The only thing that makes this album less impressive, is the fact that it drags the shadow of "The Stench Of Redemption", one of the band's best releases to date.

If this album wasn't the one after The Stench Of Redemption it would have much better critics than it has. but when a band manages to create something like TSOR it is absolutely logical that the expectations are very high..

In the shadow of 'The Stench of Redemption', but it still does a good job of trying to exceed the expectations. I personally think the album is a tad too long, but it makes more room for longer passages.

What's wrong with you people, this album is terribly underrated. It's a great follow up to The Stench Of Redemption!

Half-Deaf

I'm half-deaf, and I think I'd rather be fully deaf than listen to this garbage.

You're not half-deaf; you're tone-deaf.
I don't know what are you looking for in Deicide. For Deicide's fans like us, we know their strongest skills are mastery of rhythmic bass riffs that no other bands can acheive that so skillfully !!! even without the bros., he still made it in this album !

Everyone's hate towards this record is genuine. You're labeling our user 'tone-deaf' won't turn up this album to higher status or more specifically into higher ratings. Seriously man, this album has not even ONE GOOD SONG in it. I always had a love-hate relationship with Deicide, as their initial albums sounds very good enough but ultimately collapsing into generic metal band. You're fan of this band and its okay to receive such criticism man. You like the record, that's good. Rate it higher. Not bash anyone who doesn't justify your "yes, its a great record" biased opinion.

Sit back, relax and have a glass of chocolate milk.

Then growl some anti-Christian statements into a microphone over generic watered down death metal riffs and you have successfully created a new Deicide album.

Yes. I think Lustful Maid(can't be much lustful than choc milk) should really get this. You know there gotta be one fan who incessantly try to attack other users to defend any boring albums dropped by their band. Its totally fine with them but how can any fan can carried away with blatant albums like this.

Do fanboys have different ears?

Could be !
As fanboys know their favorite bands in and out.
For example, we like deicide for their heavy fast and rhythmic bass riffs. Always very deicide, can not be immitated by others.
If you're looking for other "things", then sorry dude, next door please...
