Let's start by trying to define the style of this album, their latest so far. In this album they play a melodic thrash with progressive influences accompanied by versatile vocals that varied between (not so) low thrash-ish and (not so) high hardcore-ish vocals. Excepting the last song of which I will talk later. The album counts with an excellent work on the drums by Ted Kirkpatrick, that no only show his talent on drums, but that also plays the rhythm guitars, combining them in a complementary way. The album is full of very good solos by Marty Friedman and a couple by Bruce Franklin (Trouble). The guitars on this album (rhythm and lead) are something to check out. Read more ›› |
