A slight step down from the band's first two albums but still pretty awesome in parts. The first few songs and "Nenia" are definitely the best cuts here, since the mid-section of the album seems weaker by comparison.

Sometimes it's hard not to compare the other albums when a band has a "classic"... on it's own this is pretty mediocre, and when compared to their first it sucks total balls. It's basically the same but everything taken down a notch, worse riffs, slower, worse vocals, less intensity, etc.

Not as good as their first two records and certainly less heavy and ferocious, but it's still pretty damn good, and definitely one of the grooviest and most melodic death metal releases for it's time. "Collection by Blood" and "Nenia" are definitely stand-outs for me.
