Mucky as fuck. This album exemplifies what death metal should sound like: ferocious, uncompromising, drenched in heavy distortion and Martin van Drunen in peak form. Savage and beautiful.

I remembered the production was way worse than what it actually is. Ah, well... classic Asphyx kicks some ass and this album is no exception. The biggest problem with this album is the fact that they got even better after releasing this thing, so unless you begin with their debut it might sound less kickass than what it actually is at least when compared to some of their later classicks.
